I’m a photographer born in Spain and working between New York and Europe (based in Berlin). I studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and at the MA Photo program of the Royal College of Art in London. I was awarded on 2011 with the International Talent Support in Italy. My work has been exhibited and featured in various galleries and publications.
In my process I travel and meet people or people come to visit me. When I photograph, I capture the instant. Sometimes there is a direction but sometimes there is no specific one, but each image is always a representation of the people I meet and how that instant affects my imagination. Working for months and years and traveling often are the basis of the long road to progress.
My photograph projects address from a personal point of view aspects about how we become one. The memory created by emotions now and then and by my ideas about utopia and what is possible are common elements I use to create my works.
The process of my photography is analog combining different types of formats and cameras and working in the darkroom.
